Chris Witchhunter is Dead

According to a post on Sodom's website, Chris Witchhunter died some time last night. There is no further information on this at this time.

i want to inform you that Chris Witchhunter died last Night. A few hours ago we received a message from Witchhunters Mom that Chris is dead. We are shocked and stunned this time but we want to tell all Sodom Fans that one of the founding Members of Sodom gone forever. Wehrwolfe Call It Quits

NC Black/Death Metal band Wehrwolfe has decided to call it quits, releasing an official statement on their blog.

"It is with sadness that I tell you that Wehrwolfe has decided after much deliberation and consideration to part ways and lay this beast down. All of us here remain good friends and this comes as a mutual decision as this band has simply run its course - so there was no blow up or violent break up here. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all of the great fans we have met and made over the years. As well as to the many bands we played with and many stages on which we played. We go our separate ways with no regrets and many great memories. For those that may ask, a final or farewell performance is not planned at this time - I wouldn't anticipate that there will be one. Thank you all for your support and interest in this band.

"The Age Of Miracles Has Passed" release date September 23

A new track from Lecherous Nocturne entitled "We Are As Dust" is available for streaming at the band's Myspace page.

Once again recorded at SoundLab Studio in Columbia SC, the release is said to be a refined yet diversified progression from 2006's "Adoration of the Blade."
